ParentPay
Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron has now moved onto the new ParentPay system, you will be able to pay online using your credit/debit card for dinner money, and school trips. We also use ParentPay to send out letters and notifications, so it is important you activate your account even if you do not pay for school dinners. Instead of sending money to school, you can keep your child’s account topped up online. If your child is on Free School Meals you will be able to check your child’s account and see exactly what they are buying and when.
Steps to get you started…
Step 1
Information will be sent to parents before they start at Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron in Year 7. If your child joins us after this time, or you don’t receive your email please contact us by email at parentpay@ygaberaeron.org.uk or 01545 570 217.
Step 2
To get started you can request a ParentPay activation email to enable you to set up your ParentPay account. This letter contains a personal activation username and password to get you logged in. You can then change your username and password to something easier to remember. You can also merge your accounts if you have more than one child at Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron so you only have one login to make payments for all of your children.
Step 3
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to top up your child’s account with dinner money, pay for days out, trips and other activities requiring payment. ParentPay offers a highly secure payment site, showing you a record of all transactions and all items available for payment. A receipt of your payment is emailed to you after each transaction.
