OUR VISION

We aim to provide inclusive support to all learners with Additional Learning Needs. We also wish to develop a pupil lead ethos with a holistic approach.

THE CURRICULUM – A BRIEF OVERVIEW

At Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron, we offer a wide range of intervention to support our pupils, be that spelling, reading or numeracy. The majority of these intervention programmes last for 10 weeks and are delivered in 30-minute sessions once a week. We also offer alternative provision for pupils who cannot access a mainstream curriculum due to their Additional Learning Needs at Canolfan Croeso.

HOME LEARNING

We recommend that every child joins at least one local sports club as we believe that this is vital in order to develop vital communication and social skills.
