OUR VISION
Developing physical health and well-being has lifelong benefits. Our vision is that you as pupils will leave this School as enterprising, creative contributors to the local sporting community.
ROOMS AND RESOURCES
Our facilities range from large playing fields on the seafront to a swimming pool on campus. We hosted a school triathlon two years ago, making use of both the Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool which we are fortunate to have on-site.
THE CURRICULUM – A BRIEF OVERVIEW
There will be numerous opportunities and experiences offered to you which will allow you to create healthy relationships as well as developing your ability to show respect and to take on different roles and responsibilities e.g. captaining a team.
KS3
In KS3, all pupils receive 2 lessons a week of PE. One is usually more games related and the other is more fitness related e.g. gymnastics.
KS4: GCSE PHYSICAL EDUCATION
If you choose PE as a GCSE option, you will receive a mixture of theory and practical lessons, studying topics such as energy balance and sport psychology to name but a few.

HOME LEARNING
We recommend that every child joins at least one local sports club as we believe that this is vital in order to develop confident, healthy individuals.
